Dear Friends of the National Guard and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers Association The SNCA is looking forward to its 1st Annual Golf Tournament on SEPTEMBER 13, 2013 at Running Deer Golf Club in Pittsgrove Township, NJ. We are a non-profit organization from the National Guard that returns 100% of all proceeds to the Soldiers and Airman of the New Jersey National Guard and their families. Our organization strives to remain in touch with the families of deployed Soldiers and Airman to provide any assistance they may need. Among the many ways we care for our families is to: provide academic scholarships, provide assistance when a child is born, and support with events such as weddings, deaths and any emergency situations that may arise. It is our goal to support our Soldiers, Airman and their families every way we can.
As you may be aware, over 9,000 men and women of the New Jersey National Guard have deployed at least once to Iraq or Afghanistan, selflessly volunteering to support and defend our countty against terrorism in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. In addition, there are several more that are projected to deploy over the next few months.
In June 2004, we lost four brothers, SPC Christopher Duffy, SGT Frank Carville, SSG Humberto Timeteo and SGT Ryan Doltz, and in October 2011, we lost another brother, SSG Jorge Oliveira. All of these good men were taken from us too soon and we grieve their passmg.
Our organization has established a “Fallen Heroes Fund” that will provide assistance to the families of those that perish in the line of duty, and with your help and participation look fotward to helping children and families that may need our support. In addition, we have established a college fund for some of the families and wish to support those that are in need of our assistance. With your partnership, this can all come to fruition.
